Little Ria and the Warm Blanket

Title: “Little Ria and the Warm Blanket”

Once upon a time, in a cozy little house at the edge of a big green park, lived a sweet little girl named Ria. Ria was just 3 years old. She had curly hair, bright eyes, and the cutest giggle you ever heard.

Ria lived with her Mama, Papa, and her Grandma. Everyone in the house loved her very much. They called her their “Sunshine Baby” because she made the house feel bright and happy.

One chilly morning, the wind blew hard outside. The leaves flew everywhere, and the windows made a soft “whoooo” sound.

Ria woke up and rubbed her eyes. “Brrr… It’s cold!” she said, wrapping her little arms around herself.

She looked for her warm red blanket—but it was missing! Ria’s blanket was her favorite. She hugged it while sleeping, playing, and sometimes even eating cookies.

Ria’s lower lip trembled. “Where is my blanket?”

Mama walked into the room. “Good morning, my love!” she said. “Oh no! Your blanket is not here?”

“Nooo,” Ria sniffled.

“Don’t worry,” said Mama, giving her a big warm hug. “Let’s go find it together.”

They looked in the toy basket. No blanket.

They looked under the table. Still no blanket.

Just then, Grandma walked in with a cup of warm milk. “Ria, my sweet girl, I saw something red on the balcony chair.”

Ria ran with Mama to the balcony—and there it was! Her blanket had flown outside with the wind.

But—oh no! It was stuck on the balcony railing, and it was wet!

Ria’s eyes filled with tears. “My blanket is cold and sad now,” she cried.

Mama picked her up. “Don’t worry, darling. Families fix things together.”

She gave the wet blanket to Grandma, who gently dried it with a soft towel. Then Papa took it and put it near the heater.

“Let’s make this blanket warm again,” he said.

While the blanket warmed up, Grandma sat Ria in her lap. She told her a sweet story about a baby bunny who also lost his blanket, but his family helped him just like hers did.

Ria smiled. “That bunny was lucky. Just like me!”

Soon, Papa brought the blanket back. It was warm, soft, and smelled like sunshine.

Ria hugged it tightly. “Thank you, everyone! I love my family so much!”

Mama kissed her forehead. “We love you even more, Ria.”

That night, Ria slept with her blanket and dreamed of warm hugs, gentle hands, and the love of her happy family.
